Host a Solar Project
A community solar project is a shared solar energy system connected to the utility grid, with multiple participants—residents, businesses, local governments, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations—subscribing to receive the benefits of solar power. If you have suitable land, we’d like to lease a portion of your property to help bring clean, affordable energy to your community.
Community Solar: A New Kind of Power Plant
Unlike large utility-scale solar farms, community solar projects allow subscribers to receive credit as if the energy were generated on their own property. They reduce their electricity bills with clean, low-cost solar energy produced by the shared array—saving money while supporting renewable power in their area.
Partner With Us
We’ve successfully partnered with landowners across the country to bring 100’s of community solar projects to life. We focus on building lasting relationships with landowners and their communities, ensuring each project is a strong fit for the land, the local area, and the people it serves.
Our Simple, Risk-Free Lease Offer
We aim to make the leasing process as straightforward and stress-free as possible:
We cover all costs associated with operations and maintenance.
We pay for any increase in property taxes resulting from the project.
The lease includes a development phase, an operating term, and optional renewals. You’ll receive an initial payment during development as we begin securing utility and land use approvals. Once approved, the full lease kicks in, rent payments begin, and construction moves forward.
Let your land do more—generate steady income and help power your community with clean energy.
